Frankly, I don&#039;t really believe in buying nice pots for gardening. They can be expensive and we are not helping the environment by doing that. 

When I raise seedlings, I often reuse used styrofoam cups with holes poked beneath as pots, as opposed to buying new thumbpots or seedling trays from the nursery.

You can even reuse paper egg trays as pots to raise your seedlings. They are biodegradable and work somewhat like Jiffies and peat pots.</description>

But your article has inspired me to not restrict myself to just buying planting pots. Creativity pays off and the sense of satisfaction from recycling is even bigger.</description>
