I have been roped into the Serangoon Newsletter Team by Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, MP for my constituency, earlier this year. I felt honoured to be able to contribute to my community. 
My contribution to the newsletter revolves around gardening, of course, and I will be the resident contributor with a regular column! My maiden contribution to the newsletter focussed on ornamental bananas, my new love.
My article was not heacy on the text bit and I hope the colourful pictures are enough to evoke interest in these plants. Like what the old saying goes – a picture tells a thousand words.
